Our People

The Design Specialty Builders team holds years of experience in their respective trades – masonry, carpentry, painting and construction.

On the job, this expertise contributes to improved production and project management, resulting in quality construction completed on deadline! To better serve our clients, our painters, masons and carpenters are not sub-contracted. They are an integral part of our team, and as such, help Design Specialty Builders avoid project delays and quality issues—delivering more to clients.

Stan Arnetveit, President

Stan Arnetveit, president, grew up building homes with his father, and in 1968, formed Design Specialty Builders. He holds more than 60 years of construction experience, and holds a bachelor's and master's degree in science. Stan remains an integral part of Design Specialty Builders, personally managing many projects annually.

Erik Arnetveit, Vice President

Erik Arnetveit, vice president, joined Design Specialty Builders in 1997 after earning a bachelor's degree in construction management and a minor in business, from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Erik works closely with customers to design and manage their building projects.

Linda Kallas, Office Manager

Linda Kallas, office manager, joined Design Specialty Builders in 2005. Linda handles accounts payables and receivables and provides top-notch customer service.
